This morning, our luxury coach will pick you up from your Hotel and transfer you
to Freshwater Station for check-in before boarding the Kuranda Scenic Rail for a
delightful journey, which winds over waterfalls and through tunnels.
Your tour today includes entry into the three main attractions in Kuranda; Birdworld,
the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and Kuranda Koala Gardens. Birdworld gives you
the opportunity to see a brilliant array of birds, most of which are native to Tropical
North Queensland, although some endangered rainforest species are also displayed.
Time then to visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, where you can view over 1,500
tropical butterflies, all local to the area, including the electric blue Ulysses
butterfly.
  
Our next stop is Kuranda Koala Gardens for a great wildlife experience. See wombats,
koalas, kangaroos, fresh water crocodiles and Australia's first "walk through snake
enclosure". There's even an opportunity for a souvenir picture of you cuddling a
koala (at own expense).
Free time is also allowed to explore this "Village in the Rainforest". Board the
world famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your journey to Caravonica Lakes. You
will delight in the views and sounds as you silently glide over the rainforest canopy.
After arriving at Caravonica Lakes, our coach will transfer you back to your accommodation
after a great day.
